Awdry Law welcomes Family Law Solicitor Lucy Jones to new Bath Office…

Awdry Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Jones as a Family Law Solicitor, based in the firm’s new Bath office.

Lucy has specialised exclusively in family law since qualifying in 2007 and brings extensive experience advising clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. She is known for her friendly, realistic approach and for guiding clients through the legal process with clarity, sensitivity and practical advice.

Lucy advises and represents clients in high net worth divorce and financial remedy proceedings, regularly works with unmarried couples, and has significant experience in private law children matters, dealing with a broad range of disputes concerning child arrangements. She also has particular expertise in advising clients who have experienced or been accused of domestic abuse, handling these matters with care and professionalism.

Her recent experience includes successfully representing a mother in court proceedings relating to a change of her child’s school, acting for a wife to secure a significant spousal maintenance award from a high-earning husband, protecting business interests for a husband with multiple restaurants and a property portfolio following divorce, and representing a father in complex domestic abuse proceedings which resulted in no findings being made and the restoration of a shared care arrangement.

Lucy is actively involved in the Bath community and is a member of the Bath Resolution committee, reflecting her commitment to promoting constructive and client-focused approaches to family law. She lives in Bath with her husband and two young children.

Lucy’s appointment supports Awdry Law’s continued investment in its Family Law offering and strengthens the firm’s presence in Bath following the opening of its new office.

Speaking about Lucy’s appointment, Cindy Ervine, Head of Family Law commented.

“We are delighted to welcome Lucy to our growing Family Law team and to our new Bath office. Lucy brings a wealth of family law experience and a compassionate, practical approach that aligns perfectly with our values. Her strong connection to Bath and her reputation for handling complex matters sensitively make her a fantastic addition to the team.”

Commenting on her new role, Lucy Jones said:

“I’m really pleased to be joining Awdry Law at such an exciting time, particularly with the opening of the Bath office. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate difficult family situations in a supportive and realistic way, and I’m looking forward to continuing my work in Bath as part of such a welcoming and respected firm.”

Lucy’s appointment further enhances Awdry Law’s ability to provide expert and compassionate family law advice to clients across Bath, Wiltshire and the wider region.
