Senior Associate Solicitor, Family Law

About Lucy

I have specialised in all areas of family law since qualifying in 2007. I assist clients when they are going through one of the most stressful periods of their lives. I try and guide clients through the process in a friendly and realistic manner. I advise and represent clients in high net worth divorce and financial remedy proceedings and regularly work with unmarried clients.

I have extensive experience in private law children cases and deal with a broad range of disputes regarding child arrangements. Additionally, I have particular expertise advising clients who have experienced or been accused of domestic abuse.

I am very involved in the Bath community, and I am a member of the Bath Resolution committee. I live in Bath with my husband and two young children and when they aren’t keeping me too busy, I enjoy swimming, running, spending time with family and friends whilst enjoying some delicious food and drink. I also love travel.

Examples of work:

  • Representing a mother in a case relating to the change of her child’s school. Father refuted the application and an application to Court was made for a specific issue order which resulted in a successful change in the child’s school.
  • Acting for a wife in which the husband was a very high earner and securing a significant monthly spousal maintenance sum.
  • Acting for a husband in which he had multiple restaurants and a property portfolio and ensuring that he protected these businesses following his divorce.
  • Acting for a father where multiple allegations of domestic abuse were made against him and thereafter no findings being found following a Fact Finding Hearing. Thereafter, father had a 50/50 relationship with his children.
