I graduated with a First-Class degree in law in 2014 and received a full scholarship to study the BPTC part time, alongside running a small business and raising my 3 children. I was called to the Bar as an unregistered barrister in 2016 with an Outstanding BPTC result.
I then, volunteered as a McKenzie Friend, supporting disadvantaged litigants in person, which inspired me to re-qualify as a solicitor. In 2024, I joined Awdry Law’s family law team, where I have been encouraged to continue helping people pro-bono with the establishment of a free legal clinic at a local women’s centre run by the Nelson’s Trust, providing vital support to vulnerable women.
