When I first stepped into Awdry Law in September 2021, I had no idea just how quickly my career would evolve…

I started my journey in the conveyancing department as a Legal Secretary and although it was great to try something new, a few months in, an opportunity arose within the private client team, and with my previous experience in that area, I knew it was the right move for me. Eight months later, my dedication and passion paid off when I was promoted to Paralegal, and this solidified that it was definitely the right move and private client is where I wish to develop my career.

Now, well settled into my role as a Paralegal, I have been handling my own clients since January 2024 which is an incredibly rewarding experience and one that I thoroughly enjoy. I assist clients by advising on and drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and estate administration.

Alongside working, I am continuing to study and completing a CILEX course, and Awdry Law have supported me without hesitation, ensuring I have everything I need to continue my studies. The encouragement from the firm, particularly from my Head of Department—whom I had previously assisted as a Legal Secretary—has been truly unmatched. The constant support and belief in my progress have made all the difference.

What I love most about working in the private client team is the diversity of the work; no two clients are the same, and with each case, I learn something new.

I am excited to see what the next stage of my career brings!
