At Awdry Law, we are proud to have been strengthening our connection with the local Bath community following the opening of our Bath office earlier this year.

In recent weeks, much of this work has centred around a partnership with Genesis Trust Bath. Colleagues from the firm have taken part in hands-on volunteering, supporting practical projects including painting a new office space at St Swithin’s Church and helping with gardening at the Gateway Centre.

This activity has been supported by wider fundraising and donation efforts. Members of the Bath team recently volunteered at a food drive at Waitrose, helping to collect over 240kg of donations for the local foodbank serving Bath, Keynsham and the Somer Valley. Alongside this, colleagues across the firm contributed food and essential items for Genesis Trust Bath, demonstrating a strong collective effort to support those in need.

The team also heard from Rachel Baker of Genesis Trust Bath, whose talk highlighted the scale of need across the city and the impact the charity has every day. The session gave colleagues valuable insight into the challenges faced locally and reinforced the importance of continued support.

In addition, Awdry Law has supported FoodCycle in Bath, with colleagues volunteering to prepare and serve meals for members of the community. From preparing ingredients to welcoming guests, the team has been involved at every stage, helping to create a warm and inclusive environment for those attending.
