About James

I studied my undergraduate law degree at Sheffield University, graduating in 2017. After a couple of years away from the world of law, in which I worked for a small charity, I returned to complete my LPC during lockdown.

Upon completing my studies, I relocated from south-east London to Salisbury to complete my training contract with a regional firm, qualifying as a solicitor in September 2023.  I am now looking forward to building my career in the commercial team at Awdry Law.

Examples of work:

I assist on a broad range of commercial matters, including:

  • Share and asset transfers.
  • Commercial property sales and purchases.
  • Commercial leases.
  • Agricultural and rural matters.

Three things people don’t know about you:

1 – When I was younger I was a competitive cyclist, racing at both regional and national level.  In 2011 I was selected for an international team.

2 – I have a keen interest in history, and can even read and write a few words of Old English!

3 – I really enjoy all kinds of cooking and baking – one of my most prized possessions is my sourdough starter!

Quick enquiry.
