Jeanie Whelan.

Jeanie Whelan

In 2017 I graduated from the University of South Wales with an LLB Law Degree, LPC and Masters qualification. I began working for a Cardiff based law firm as a Conveyancing legal assistant.

After deciding to return home to Wiltshire, I started as a legal secretary at Awdry Law in June 2018, working for Heather Wannell the Head of Private Client. I gained invaluable experience and further developed my communication, legal research and organisational skills, which have continued to be incredibly useful as my career has progressed.

Once I had demonstrated I was ready to progress with my own case load, I was offered a training contract and started as a trainee solicitor in January 2019. I was always encouraged and supported to advance my legal knowledge and I quickly realised that Private Client was an obvious choice for my future career. I thoroughly enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and assisting them and their families plan for the future.

Awdry Law have always provided me with opportunities to push myself, advance my career and do meaningful work. I work with brilliant people and am enjoying continuing to grow our department.
