We have appointed a new Managing Partner…
Alistair Everett, who has been Managing Partner at Awdry Law since 2020, has recently made the decision to stand-down from the position and hand over to fellow Equity Partner, Alexander David. Alistair will continue at the firm as a member of the Management Board and in leading the firm’s growing Conveyancing department.
Alistair commented, “Together with the Leadership Team and all the fabulous people here, we’ve implemented many changes and made great progress across the business over several years. It’s been a huge privilege and honour to be Managing Partner of this fantastic firm.
Many congratulations to Alex. He brings a lot of experience and many talents, and I know he will be a great success in the role.”
“I am continuing as an Equity Partner and a member of the Management Board and will continue to do everything I can to support all the wonderful people in Awdry Law and help the firm to go from strength to strength.”
Alistair Everett will be handing over to Alexander David, who is also part of the firm’s Management Board. Alex has been with the firm for 16 years and in that time has headed up the family law department, before playing a key role in the development and advancement of the Private Client Department. Alex has also been involved in many aspects of compliance to include risk management.
Alex added, “Alistair has done a superb job at navigating the firm through a period of great positive change. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside him during his time as Managing Partner, and I know that this sentiment is shared right across the firm.
Moving forward, it is fantastic that Alistair will be the driving force behind many aspects of the business in his key role as Partner and a senior member of the Management Board.
It is an absolute privilege to be the Managing Partner of this great firm. I am optimistic for the future for a number of reasons, but the biggest reason is the people that make up this wonderful firm; there are great people everywhere in the firm, and with their goodwill and support, there is no doubt in my mind that Awdry Law and its people will achieve and prosper long into the future.”
