Shelley Thrall

Shelley is a paralegal at Awdry Law.

She is an experienced paralegal specialising in commercial leases, commercial property and first registration applications.

The types of matters Shelley regularly deals with include, but are not limited to, commercial leases for both landlords and tenants, acting for business owners and private individuals buying and selling commercial property, and providing reports for tenants of commercial leases.

Shelley also assists the Corporate Department at Awdry Law by producing ancillary documents and data rooms for share and business purchase agreements.

• Acting for landlords and tenants on lease grants, assignments and renewals, including 1954 Act renewals and opt-out arrangements
• Selling commercial and mixed-use properties, including shops, offices and industrial premises
• Purchasing shops, offices, industrial units and other commercial properties
• Resolving clients’ ownership of unregistered property and registration with HM Land Registry
• Acting for landowners with access arrangements for utilities and services on their land
• Providing standalone lease reports to commercial tenants

Qualifications and memberships

Shelley’s career is built on an understanding of commercial property law developed through extensive practical experience rather than a traditional law degree. She has over five years’ experience in the management of commercial property transactions, commercial landlord and tenant law, and property due diligence.
