About Louisa

Having worked in the Marlborough area as a solicitor in Residential Conveyancing for the last 20 years I have built up considerable expertise in assisting clients with all of their conveyancing requirements.

Whilst many of my clients are based in this area and are buying and selling locally, I  also act for a number of clients looking to buy and sell homes in London and the surrounding areas.

I strive to maintain a proactive, sensible and supportive approach to any transaction in order to achieve a smooth and stress free move for all of my clients.

Examples of work:

  • Sale and purchase of large rural properties and London homes
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (both registered and unregistered)
  • Mortgages and re-mortgages
  • ‘Buy to Let’ investment purchases of tenanted properties
  • Assents of property from personal representatives
  • Matrimonial transfers
  • Transfers of equity
  • Joint ownership advice, including preparation of Declarations of Trust and registration of notices and restrictions on registered titles
  • Drafting and negotiating Deeds of Variation and/or Deeds of Rectification in relation to ‘defective’ leases or deeds
  • Drafting Deeds of Easement
  • Preparation of auction packs for sales at auction and advising buyers looking to purchase at auction
  • General property, boundary, and other title enquiries

3 things about you:

  1.   I was born in and grew up in the local area, so this is very much home for me.
  2.   I love to ski with family and friends when time and funds permit!
  3.   I have recently joined a local Pilates class to stretch away the aches and pains of a day behind the desk.
